It was excellent but very sad that these girls lost their lives.

I watched it and thought Marin Clunes was brilliant in it. I lived and worked near heathrow airport at the time so knew all the places that were in the programme also I worked with his wifes aunt we were all very upset for the family because they were a lovely family and the girl just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and met him

Would think it would be discussed before the programme was aired as evidence came from family of the victims .

I have not watched this but I do hope that the family was consulted and agreed to the project and screening as this is a fairly recent event, but perhaps this was mentioned at the beginning?

I also watched and thoroughly enjoyed it. I too remember the Milly Dowler case. Its amazing though how they got the killer.

In real life cases we never get to hear the details like we did with this drama.

Martin Clunes is a brilliant actor and played the part extremely well...I love him in Doc Martin though.

Was really well done

Shows though how long some investigations can take

I remember milly dowler going missing but don't remember the conviction of the killer

He really was an evil man

Yes, we watched it and thought it was excellent. It's amazing how the smallest pieces of evidence all add up and that the suspect's wife's memory of what she had bought at the supermarket that day would be the thing that caught him in the end. Brilliant!!
