I went to the hospital on Friday. Was quite an efficient appointment

But on Saturday afternoon I felt off!!

Sunday I had a cough and a bit off again

Now I have an almighty chest cold .am coughing big time and got a hack and phlegm

I have hot sweats and can't speak clearly without croaking!!

Hospitals aren't that healthy!!!

Did I meet you somewhere, Shirley?

This one is a humdinger and seems to strike twice. Good luck with it.

Update

Still got the cold and cough but today got an appointment for the Jount school that must be attended for pre assessment on mon 11th February

Seems the op may be sooner than I thought

Was told by docs could be 6 to 12 months so seems it may be sooner

I really want to get it done and be up on my feet and mobile sooner rather than later

Think you may find the assessment in the first place is to work out priorities and where you go in the queue.

Just recovering from this myself - mid-August check up led to assessments followed by various scans - actual op January 7th. Home now but still very wobbly (Abdominal aortic aneurysm)

My pre-assessment is 29th January followed by knee replacement on 19th February if all is well.

I went the Doctors last Thursday night
She sent me for an x-ray the next day
and I see a specialist this Thursday

I call that a quick service ;-) ;-)

That's very speedy, Joy.

I saw my doctor on Thursday, who was running late as always. I don't usually mind the wait as I know he gives everyone all the time they need. This time there was a woman accompanying her (patient) husband who sat and coughed for the whole 45 minutes wait. Why she didn't she stay home was a mystery to me! When I went in I remembered I hadn't had my flu jab, so am hoping I can fend off any germs I might have received from the cougher, and stay flu free.
