Morning all, Well today is the day we’re off to the Broads. Decision of what car to take is made. Mr Owl’s work took the Mokka and gave us a Golf GT TDI which is our company car for three years so that’s what we are taking.

I have a mokka. Had it from brand new. Its now a 63 plate and never ever had any trouble with it. We have a caravan on the coast so its used to journey's. Its only the boot that lets it down as it is small. Don't bother us as we are only two as well

Hi Tawny

Don't forget we have a lot of twisty lanes in Norfolk, and lots of potholes too lol

You must let me have more details nearer the time in case there's a chance of us meeting up,

One of my daughters loves Volvo's..
On one family holiday, I bailed her out when it broke down on a hill in Somerset (new car needed) another time, her father bailed her out. :-|

Red flannel. Absolutely as that’s my favourite thing :-D The Volvo has been to Windsor six times in the last three years.

Still would take the Mokka,,,,,,,,,if the Volvo isn't used to a long haul then it could prove costly...although any car can have a break down.....

just tops and socks...….are you going to stitch your self into red flannel. ;-) :-D

Just me and Mr Owl going. This is our mini moon before wedding chaos ensues. We marry June 1st. Volvo is in top nick and just one suitcase between us as we only need a change of top and socks everyday.

Depends on how many are going and what baggage you'll be taking or bringing back.
:-D.

I'd choose the Mokka…..mainly because I don't like the style of the RX8.

Th Volvo could be a bit of a chance if its not in top nick.

How much luggage are you taking? Then make your decision ;-)

Going boating on the Norfolk broads in April and we’ll need to take a car down from bonnie Scotland. Our choices are a Vauxhall Mokka 68 plate (Mr Owls work vehicle which we can take with a mileage charge), an 09 plate Mazda RX8 40th anniversary of the rotary engine edition(Our pride and Joy) or an 19 year old Volvo V70 estate. What would you pick?
