I don't know whether I'm coming or going! :-S

But I'm fairly confident that the PM will clarify the situation using words that we can all understand without the aid of a Dictionary or the verbal dexterity of overworked & biased political pundits.

That's clear then.

House of Commons' procedures occasionally produce unexpected results.

Unwelcome 'egg on face' can be a cruel retort.

The computer says no.

Not much has changed.

"take control" but now the future of the UK is in the hands of the EU as it decides whether or not to grant a S 50 extension and on what terms. The Spanish have already set out their stall.

For the first time May has acknowledged that brexit could be cancelled altogether using S50 powers.

Somebody let the dogs out.

There’s an old poker phrase that states ‘if you look around the table and you can’t see who the mug is, the mug is you’.

Ever since she became Prime Minister, Theresa May has proved herself a spectacularly bad card player. Yes, she was dealt an awful hand by a Cameron referendum that told us what the country didn’t want (the EU) but not what it did want (the alternative to the EU).

"good idea to work together over Brexit."

Well they could have done that from the get go but made no attempt to do so. May should not have filed S50 until a workable plan had been worked out. Such a plan would have had to include ongoing membership of the CustomsUnion.
Anybody with a shred of knowledge of the GFA could and should have seen that it would screw up May's brexit.

All of the various unicorns are now going to get a run around - Malthouse, Labour's "plan" etc. They are all making the same mistake of the last three years ignoring that the EU has always had the whip hand. Negotiatons are over. S50 extension will be given only "for a reason" and the only reason that they will accept is a general election or Peoples Vote. Most MPs just go on talking to each other regardless of party.

The only exits from this imbroglio are either to cancel brexit using S50 powers or go for a people's vote. Anything else will take the country into a crash, make a few people ( especially members of the ERG ) extremely rich while bankrupting the real economy. Indeed Corbyn and his fellow marxists are hoping for just that.

Over £ 1 trilliion has been pulled out of the country in the last month.

I am in flux.

On one hand, I think MPs have had the same individual vote as everyone else so I feel those whose constituents voted to leave ought to represent their constituents properly and vote that way in Parliament.

On the other hand, I feel that TM, who, herself was a Remainer, is, perhaps, secretly happy with the delay caused by recalcitrant members and, so, by appearance, is taking delays in her stride.

Perhaps the hope is that the country gets so fed up that it throws up its collective hands in despair at constant delays and decides brexiting is not worth the bother?

Probably what the majority of MPs has always been aiming for anyway.
