Sounds like many years of training there - you're right of course.

Hope your OH finds something she really like. Have a good evening Allan :-D :-D <3 <3

Allan

Allan Report 13 Apr 2019 12:24

:-D :-D :-D

And on that note, I'm off to watch TV.

There's no arguing with women :-( :-D :-D :-D

I've done it, if I'd have told OH he needed new clothes as he left the RAF he'd have dug his heels in and told me I was wrong. I'd done all the groundwork, went to the DIY shop with him then took him to 1 shop and he spent a small fortune on all the trousers, shirts and jumpers he had to have. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 13 Apr 2019 12:17

Possibly :-(

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 12:15

I think what happened was you were told you were going out shopping with the excuse it was for your OH's wedding outfit but the object of the day was a new suit for you. ;-)

Allan

Allan Report 13 Apr 2019 12:11

The Op shop was still open :-P

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 12:08

In that case how did you get your suit and it's only just after 7pm now - :-D :-D :-D :-D

Allan

Allan Report 13 Apr 2019 12:05

Yep!

That's why I only take OH clothes shopping at midnight when the various clothes shops are still light up, but closed :-D

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 12:05

Have a good one Joy :-D :-D <3 <3

JoyLouise Report 13 Apr 2019 12:03

Well, I'm off to get my jammies off and my glad rags on. We are out to a diamond wedding shindig this arvo. Drinking, dining, dancing ... with everyone's creaky joints in motion. :-D

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 11:59

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 11:58

Coffee and cake to get over the expense of it all. :-0

Allan

Allan Report 13 Apr 2019 11:58

OH can take a packed lunch and a flask of coffee when she goes shopping :-| :-P

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 13 Apr 2019 11:56

Not if Allan's with her, Pat. She'd probably have to empty her own purse first.

Allan, remember, your OH will need a decent lunch and a couple of stops for coffee as shopping's really, really, tiring when you have no OH to carry your bags and boxes. :-D

Or is that why she takes you? ;-)

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 13 Apr 2019 11:53

Thought she already did that Joy :-D :-D :-D :-D

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 13 Apr 2019 11:50

So, Allan, the consensus seems to be give your OH your wallet and let her loose. :-D

I get my own clothes, he'd be bored and all over the place. Get him in an electronics shop and he's in heaven.

Last time we decided to get a new TV he went through the shop checking everything he saw and I stood and watched the whole of the film Madagascar while he did so :-D :-D :-D

JoyLouise, Pot Shrigley in Cheshire was a fantastic place for bluebells when I used to live near there many years ago
