Fortuitously, we ordered some wood a couple of weeks ago and it has now all been neatly stacked ready for use.

All we need now is something to burn it in :-D :-D

I feels for ya, Allan, I reeeelly do ..... ;-)

..... as we bask in glorious spring weather.

The first of my rhododendrons has pretty pink skirts on, the others have a shed-load of buds. A couple of the azaleas are also displaying their wares.

In fact, the garden is beginning to dress for it's best.

Oh! to be in England
Now that Spring is here

Typifies the area at the moment.

One of my brothers, a keen gardener (who also has an allotment) has a super garden that was open to locals last year ..... but, alas, I don't live near enough to pop along to see it. It will be summer before we are down that way.

The other brother, who lives nearer, pays someone to do his as his every waking hour is spent on someone else's green, knocking a small ball about with long sticks. Ah, well, it keeps him occupied and out from under his OH's feet. :-D :-D :-D

(You can get your own back when our shiver-and-freeze season comes back around.)

;-) :-0
