I am getting my first hearing aids fitted at 1pm so watch it I will be listening !!!! lol

When Fred first had his hearing aids I spoke much more clearly.

They feel very odd !!!

Wish that darn clock would stop ticking too !!!


The right ear hears every tap as I type on the iPad

Got ones that just fit in the ear and don't show unless you really look for,them

Sounds were very hollow so that was tuned down a bit. ,Go back in two weeks to review how I am getting on with them

Was told will probably need turning up a bit as the brain adjusts to sounds it hadn't heard for some time

Feel like I have blocked ears too

Well I am having balance problems

Had problems for a few months and had an inner ear infection so was all wobbly

Was told the hearing aids can help with the balance as well as the hearing

Well it's only a few hours but I have lost that blocked ear feeling

My wife says that I should get my hearing tested, but I maintain that if she spoke more clearly there would not be a problem She has a habit of talking to me from upstairs when I am in the garden shed. If she goes to bed before me, she turns the TV down unless I can grab the control.
