Thankyou both. No I can't ignore it because it is the whole screen and there is nowhere to click except the off button!!

I will try your alternatives, DetEcTive.

I just used it under Windows 10 / 64 with latest updates to post here. Worked OK.

Common reasons for this include the site cert not being up to date and some AV software.

A lesson common reason are the changes being made, eg by Sky, in ISP router software . A workaround is not to use the ISP DNS but instead use the Google DNS which in any case is faster.

google dns1 8.8.8.8 dns2 8.8.4.4

Can’t you just ignore the warning?

I’m sure I’ve used it recently since the last update. Can’t currently check as am use an iPad & Safari.

There’s a suggested list of alternatives here

Is anybody else having problems with this site? I use it quite often if I have a very long URL to copy, but when I tried it yesterday for the long URL about metal recycling I got a message saying it was an unsafe website.

Is there any way round this? Or does anyone know of an alternative site that might work?

I have Windows 10 and this seems to have happened since the last update! :-S
