Funnily enough Sue I was just about to clarify that, as I just KNEW someone would pick up on it .

No I haven't a thing about working class blokes, except just those who 'play it up'and are what my friend calls "chippy" about any other class ie those who they pigeonhole as "posh people"... who, when it comes down to the basics of living, ( love, children, family, etc) are just people like the rest of us aren't they?

ALL my male relatives as far back as I can trace have been "working class blokes", all my female relatives as far back as I can trace have been working class also, my mum and dad were working class, I am working class, and very proud to have those working class ancestors as I know the hard graft that all of those ancestors did.

Very stupid.

Pleading that he didn't realise may be true ( in all honesty even the "it was about class" smacks of chippy working class bloke ) BUT ... this is a bloke who is a football fan and knows that 'monkey chants' are directed at black players.

There's really no excuse for a man his age not to think twice before posting tweets or anything.

He can't have missed the racist comments on even the 'safe' social media sites.

Well, that was pretty stupid of him, wasn't it?
