She is certainly still going out but the bus service has been withdrawn so I am not sure where she goes now.

Is she still going out for sausage sarnies???

She is indeed. Fred never made that.

Fred was the person who had lived longest in the village and that is now Glad.

Happy birthday, to Glad, is she the oldest person in the village?

My uncle made it to 100 in 2015 but sadly died 6 months later. He's the only one in my family to get a card from the Queen and it really made his day. A lovely, gentle, old-fashioned gentleman.

R.I.P. Uncle Vic.

Happy Birthday Glad.

My great great grandmother made it to 100, and my eldest aunt had her 99th birthday recently. Her two younger sisters are both in their 90s.

I hope Glad has had a great birthday.
Maybe even a sausage sandwich was included.

No blood relative has yet made 100 as far as I know, but my brother-in-law's mother is still chirpy and 'with it'at 101.
My oldest blood relation is heading for 98 and still has her old wacky sense of humour, when I phone her, so she too is doing great.

Do you remember that there was a lady of similar age who used to go for a sausage sandwich with Fred?

Well, our Glad turned ninety-nine today.
