Maggie, although the buses go to town every 12 minutes, if you want to get anywhere else you have to go into town and then out on another bus, so in some cases going twice the distance. If 2 of us wanted to go to the rail station it is quicker and cheaper to go in a taxi, rather than 2 buses and fares.

Still better than where I was in Wales though, 3 buses a day and nothing after 5.

Florence that is my interpretation too, and I do want to go somewhere but it's impossible in the foreseeable future .

I never remember my dreams - and find remembering the bus times quite difficult.
It's first bus 07:40 during term time, 07:34 other times, then one a hour until 14::40, next bus 15:40 one after that (last one to town) 17:25 is or probably later, but there is one FROM town at 18:20, that then goes to the depot.
The times can vary, from 3 minutes early to 20 minutes+ late - or not run at all if another bus, on another route, has a problem.
This is (apparently) because we could walk - casually ignoring the elderly/disabled and those with toddlers.
However, if you own a car and park in the Park & Ride, you can both park your car and up to 5 people can go anywhere around Winchester for £3 - and you'll get a bus every 7 minutes up until 21:00.
The Park and Ride is the same distance from town as our estate.
But not near enough for us to use.

Funny that dreaming about trains as I use to regularly dream that I was on one but it was going non stop and I wanted to get off.
I found out that if you dream of being on a train, it means you want to escape from a present situation in your life!

I realise now after leaving him what that meant!

So maybe you want to go somewhere in your life but cant make up your mind?

I can do that Maggie, buses run every 12 minutes into town, not that town is somewhere I want to go .

I have dreams about trains though, lots of dreams, and always much the same. I get on a train but it isn't going where I want it to go, so I end up worried that I can't get back in time. Same with phones dreams, I can press the numbers but it won't connect.

"“Mercy!" cried Gandalf. "If the giving of knowledge is to be the cure of your inquisitiveness, I shall spend all the rest of my days in answering you. What more should you like to know?"

"The names of all the stars, and of all living things, and the whole history of Middle-Earth and Over-heaven and of the Sundering Seas," laughed Pippin. "Of course! What less?”
