a lot of my ancestors originated from the Hoxton Shoreditch and Spitalfields area,if anyone has any original photos of the area ie streets pubs community etc would love to hear from you photos before the blitz would be great

Stephen, it's unlikely that anyone with what you are looking for will happen by your request.

If you haven't done so already, google "old photos of ........... " and there will be sites shown with the sort of thing you're looking for.

Or "History of ............."

Thank you for your suggestions usually those photos are taken by professional photographers I would like to see some authentic photos by amateurs families etc all the best

The reason why you are unlikely to get any response from GR members is that very small minority of them actually just browse on these community pages.

I should try Facebook, as Rambling suggested

If you get the chance, visit Denis Sever's house in Spitalfields. Look it up for info on opening times.
