This “ why don’t you listen” stuff, he asked what I wanted for dinner, I said toad in the hole one potato and some cabbage, 10 minutes later he asked again, so should I put ice cream or gravy on his why don’t you listen pie :-D :-D

I think he is here today.

You Tube was on the tele and I thought I would have a listen to the Moonlight Sonata and not switch it off soon after it begins because I a getting bored with it.

It was playing at it's usual boring pace and I mentioned to OH that it was a bit slow and uninspiring.

His answer was that it had been written a long time ago.

Has it slowed down with age then?

Ha ha Sharron I reckon it has.
We did some shopping in town yesterday morning and I said I would take some shirts back for a refund but needed to go home to get them, his reply.....you will be going out twice in one day ?? good at maths isn’t he. Lol.

I think it’s selective hearing

The times my hubby said you didn’t tell me that only to say ok I don’t remember that when pointing out when it was said and what his response was

Goes to show they switch off when it’s of no interest to them and just a placating response hoping you will not follow it up

Worked to my advantage too sometimes if I did my own thing and then said i told you !

It is selective hearing, also selective memory, when we had the porch rebuilt it meant that we have no inner front door so parcels can’t be left in there like they used to, when he asked me to wait in for a parcel I said no because it’s you that didn’t want an inner front door, I showed him the text to,prove it.
