Fern Britton has announced her father died early this morning aged 95.

Gave me quite a few laughs over the years.

So sad for Fern and her family. Sad at any time but this close to Christmas makes it harder.

Kathleen, I thought the same. Losing a loved one is always hard but Fern is lucky she had her Dad for so long.
