Thank you all for your good wishes. I have had three heart attacks, so know the symptoms. There were enough that night to make me fear the worst. No harm done though. Happy new year to you all. And good health.

My youngest brother has atrial fibrillation. He stilll plays golf and squash, aged 67

... I ended the year being carted of to hospital with a suspected heart attack. After the usual x-ray, ECG and blood tests, It turned out to be atrial fibrilation, possibly brought about by a chest infection. All brought under control and sent home with antibiotics. Bloody frightening though. Happily, I am now back to normal.
