maggie ......

........ most of my socks are black, but they've been bought at different times. I think the most number of matching socks is 6 (3 pairs). That means there are about 8 socks that can be matched into 2 pairs. That's a total of 5 pairs ............... the other 10 socks only have 1 matching.

Do you know how many different shades of black there are???????????

How many different tops there are?

How many different lengths there are?

The good thing about wearing odd socks is that you usually have a similar pair at home :-0

If you put the odd sock under your pillow, does the sock fairy take it away and leave a new pair?

I suppose that it is all down to the Sock Fairy :-S

It hasn't happened very often to us .........

........... but I've had one sock since early December and still haven't found its mate.

OH does all our washing, we don't have a dryer, and he keeps assuring me that it had to have come of the washing machine on to the dryer rack ..................... unless of course I didn't put it in the basket to begin with. :-P

A man in the launderette said he thought his wife might be having an affair with a one legged man.She felt sorry for him so she gave him a sock,as you do.

And one sock always manages to get caught in the rubber bit of the washing machine and comes out sopping and splodged with detergent.
