There is an advertizement on the television at the moment for some sort of laxative and the woman says that she has to mix it with her favourite drink.

If she runs out of her favourite, will any other drink do? With the current shopping situation she well might and it could be that she has to stay bunged up as well as having the virus, just because she has run out.

Unless she has to work it out with pencil and paper!

It worksvery quickly.
I have to use it because I have a hernia and can't be operated on.

But what do you do if you don't have your favourite drink?

Does it still work if you use a different drink?

I use water and it would work whatever drink you used.

Seems a shame to ruin your favourite drink. ;-)

LaGooner Report 1 Apr 2020 14:31

It is in powder form too so perhaps it could be 'sniffed' ;-) :-D :-D :-D

As I said I use with just water,

Wouldn't dream of putting it in my Flavoured/unflavoured tonic water. but I have to use it cos of the hernia.

Sharron Report 1 Apr 2020 14:35

That woman says she puts it in her favourite drink.

The sniffing option might be good if you had a blocked nose.Would you have to mix it with your favourite powder for that?

Allan

Allan Report 1 Apr 2020 21:46

I know a couple of people who mixed it with curry powder for sniffing :-S

Both now in hospital; one's in a korma, the other's got a dodgy tikka :-0 :-D

Iv,e seen that add too Sharron. Don't they say some weird things on ads?

Caroline

Caroline Report 2 Apr 2020 18:40

They should get people like us to watch the ads first...the number of times I'll see an ad and pick holes in it....all of our ads seem to be reworked very quickly right now...car ads instead praise front line workers....food ads suddenly all free delivery and a pizza one that confirms no one touches it once it's cooked....holiday ads telling people to plan for the future holidays not this summer!!

Andrews Salts quickly & effectively relieve an upset stomach, indigestion and symptoms of over-indulgence (over eating and drinking).
