Holed up with abuser

There was an item on the news about a charity service for people holed up with abusive partners.

Of course this is a positive and very necessary provision but what about all the children holed up with cruel and abusive parents with no escape?

A headteacher voiced her concerns about children with abusive parents weeks ago - and was ignored - apart from the Government having to give £15 food vouchers each week - as though that would stop the abuse.
This was a week before the Government quietly announced automatic free school meals for children aged 5 to 7 were being stopped!,

Childline had increased the number of people taking calls and Esther Rantzen was on TV at the beginning of this crisis discussing this very issue.
Obviously this needs to be revisited.

I know I would not have been able to.
