Ann, we had a beef dinner yesterday but different from the usual.

I had two packs of cold roast beef slices in my delivery this week and I remembered a pal saying she used them to make herself a beef dinner so I used them that way for OH and me.

Complete with Yorkshires,, creamed and roast potatoes, roast parsnips (all mine), roast sweet potato (all mine), roast onion and steamed carrots and peas we had heaped plates which we cleared.

The only hard thing about it was peeling the potatoes, sweet potato and onions - the rest of the vegies were produced by my own fair hand ... from the freezer.

It crossed my mind that I probably could have got another couple of smaller dinners out of them but I banished that thought quickly and we both pigged out. :-D :-D :-D

You know that phrase ..... stuffed pigs ..... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Just picking today. :-S

Might do pasta later. :-D

Dermot, live-streaming is good if you can't be there for some reason.

I was able to 'attend' an uncle's funeral that way quite some time ago (before CV).

I've just finished watching an old school mate's church funeral service on the Webcam.

Very professional it was too.

Not sure how my deceased mum would have reacted to this modern way of doing things.
