Pat likes to shrtn her words, Island, then chucks in an intermezzo to fool us all. :-D

Pat, have you ever been to the arena in Verona to see a performance?

One year OH and I took in a picnic and spent the afternoon watching rehearsals and lighting being sorted out.

I don't know how we were allowed to walk in to take a look-see but we spent a happy couple of hours there, eating, drinking and soaking up the atmosphere. The actual performance took place a week later when we were no longer in Italy.

There were only about five or six couples sitting around watching.

It was fab. :-D <3

In Napoli, where love is king
When boy meets girl, here's what they sing ....

When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie,
That's amore.
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine,
That's amore.

Bells will ring, ting-a-ling a-ling, ting-a-ling a-ling
And you'll sing vita Bella
Hearts will play tippy tippy tay, tippy tippy tay
Like a gay tarantella.
(Dino only: lucky fella)

When the stars make you drool
It ain't the booze
:-D :-D :-D

Arfernoon to those who are still here :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

The trees are waving at me again today. I'm reclining on my sofa and waving regally back. Giving the softly furnished wooden and metal garden furniture and the brolly a miss today ;-)

Joy, you and me both! I can't bear walking barefoot on sand, likewise the palms of my hands are also sensitive - not that I walk on my hands :-0

Funnily enough, we've had special swimming shoes here for years :-S :-D I had a pair, not very glam :-(
