Bob,
I’ve now caught up with the show and must have blinked at exactly the same moment.

Note to self. When buring someone alive don’t be a cheapskate - buy a decent coffin.

Now, about the Luminaries ...............

Rollo, because of where we are situated geographically we get our Freeview from a sub-station and can only get 13 channels, plus radio up to 5pm, when BBC Alba uses the channel.

Where did I say I didn’t know what to do?

when the ads come on just double fast forward with the remote
a few programs disab;e ffwd but not many

depending on the tv you are using it is possible hack out the ads altogether or even replace them with something else
however I don't think Sky et al would be too happy about it

Don’t you just love those programmes that do a catch up after each batch of adverts.

Silent Witness, I like .............I loved it when it was a BBC series......

BUT

I dislike the way nowadays,an hour program is split up into 10 minute episodes interspersed with upto 12 minutes of adverts.....and invariably although I am never early to bed, I cant justify staying up half the night

Harrow is on UKTV Drama which is on all Freeview receivers so you should be able to get it

I have never heard of it! Probably because it's on one of the hundreds of programmes we can't get.

It dosn't sound as though I have missed much. :-| :-|

I think it was last year when I switched it on and saw one episode. Decided to stick with it but found myself switching off before the second episode was half-way through.

You can't say I didn't give it a fair go! :-(

Rotten Tomatoes rated this 2
... stay with Silent Witness

"Harrow analyzes a human arm recovered from a crocodile's stomach."

yeah, sure some light relief after latest NHS bodycount

my rating: same as Bobtarian , boring to the point of falling asleep. If this happens to you watch out for the crocodiles.

Anyone following this confusing series??
Last night he is in a coffin scratching at the cover boards with a wristwatch body, and a few moments later, appears to be on the edge of a gravespace....did I blink? and miss something?
