Does anyone know how frequently the "Hot Matches" routines are run? Do users have to request or initiate these or is it something generated automatically?

David, Genes gave up doing Hot Matches years ago.

Have you tried using the surname summary under the relatives button.

Never .............

and I found them little more than useless for me, as they often matched someone in my tree with another person of a completely different name, born in a different county, and sometimes even in a different century!

The leaf tips on Ancestry are not much better!
