Hello - it's been a while since I did any searching so I'm a bit rusty. Can anyone help me find the mother of Alfred Martin Parker dob 18/5/16 born in Hull. Will I have to send for the birth certificate to get this info? Thank you!

If you put his details on Find My Past it will say the mother’s maiden name, then you can look for the marriage of his parents. Good luck.

Thank you for the information folks. I'll give Find my Past a try as I'd like to find her maiden name.

If it's been a while, you may not have come across this site - gives mmn from start of civil registration to 2004 missing 1919 to 1983 at present but then use freebmd

Alfred Martin Parker 18/5/1916 died Hull 1997.

So alll the dates being correct in 1939 ties in with him being the son of Francis John Parker and Edith Martin.

Thank you everyone! That gives me plenty to go on. I tried to look on Find my Past but I had to pay to view docs and I've just paid to view on Genes and used up my allowance already. Turning out expensive :-(

For his birth year it would show mmn on freebmd

No need to use find my past which you have to pay for
