Happily I’ve been proved wrong, I didn’t think they would succeed but they did :-D

Watching it now and I think they won’t be able to make a profit because it’s listed and will be over their budget.

I think yesterday's was very unfair, landing them with a chapel they knew nothing about. It was far too big a job for inexperienced people. They did welll under the circumstances.

I often wonder why they don't recycle more things. Some are so gung ho about ripping things out and throwing them in a skip.

I’ve watched some of them now and drawn the conclusion that it is same s..t different house. :-(

I saw this on telly, Rollo. It was very interesting, not least because it's my hometown and I go back to meet up with cousins regularly.

We always have a great time too but this year will be the first in a long time that I've been unable to visit. :-(

Wow, hope they are worthy winners. Tickets for house raffles aren't cheap.

I've never watched the programme but I wanted to let you know of one young couple's good fortune.

Raffle tickets for a house in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, were sold by a family who wanted to go to Oz. When the targetted amount of £300,000 had been reached, a halt was called and a winner drawn.

The lucky person, who got the key this week, was from South Wales.

I can only imagine how lucky she must be feeling.

It's a fascinating programme but I think it's a bit daft to make people responsible for working together if they live a long distance from the properties. Of course they will struggle to fit in work with daily life if they have to travel a long way.

Yes it was a shame ,they couldn't understand why no one viewed the house .

Also the three bed house next door had just sold for one hundred thousand but they only got seventy four for theirs ,didn't make sense .
They spent a lot on the kitchen but didn't have enough money to do any thing in the back garden so that looked a bit rough .

Did anyone see today’s episode? I missed the end so don’t know if they won, lost or broke even, or whatever.
