If anyone is interested the funeral arrangements are on Mel’s thread remembering things from childhood

She certainly was and will be sadly missed for a long time one these boards.

I knew Jane a little from Dermot's Quiz Thread, and from Ann's Bird and Wildlife Watching thread.

A couple of years ago Jane messaged me about my Board Namesake, the Welsh Heroine and my 5x Great Aunt, Jemima Nicholas (the Original Jemima Fawr)

Jane was about to go on holiday to Pembrokeshire and wanted to know where to visit in the area and all the history connected with Jemima.

Jane was leaving for Pembrokeshire on the same day as we were leaving for a holiday in Kent. We joked that we would probably pass each other on the M4 :-D

She was a very nice lady <3

It's very sad that another person has been lost to her loved ones and all her friends on here. I have to be honest and say I can't think who Jane was right now but I am sure I must have 'met' her on the boards over the years.I

May she rest in peace now, free from pain and suffering, but living on in people's memories.

Morning Dermot 

Thank you for asking after me.

I have had 5 months of Chemo now and things seem to be going ok at the moment. Long may it continue I say. 

My Cancer is inoperable which is what I didn't want to hear but I take each day as it comes and stay positive.Although with this situation we are all in at the moment it all feels like doom and gloom. 

I am just grateful we have a lovely big garden and have made the most of it in the recent fabulous weather,bu tfeel so sorry for those who have no outdoor space at all. 
Eventually we shall all be let out again :-)

PS still jealous you are in Devon .I do miss the sea so much and wish I still lived there. 

Not sure I knew Jane either but still it is very sad to hear of another death.

Very sadly, I don't remember Jane at all and don't think I have ever had any communication with her but I have only ever been to one meet.

Lovely Jane once said how much she liked a post I did about rogation Sunday.

She will be so missed on the GR boards.

Bumping up

So sorry that our friend Jane has passed away.

I first knew Jane several years ago from the bird and gardening threads. Always friendly and helpful.

A brave lady who never complained about her illness but was looking forward to having lots of cuddles from her grandson. Sadly it's not to be.

My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
