Tiers or tears

The new tiers have been announced. No great surprise to find ourselves in tier 3. Our very low figures have rocketed up in the last two weeks.
Is this down to rule breaking or the new mutant COVID?

Probably.
I love the map on gov.uk. We.ve recently gone from under three to five, probably more now. If our village had been matched with the next one in the other direction we would be about 25. It is mostly the built up areas that have the big numbers.

Dermot, we traded with the Normans, Europe - and many other parts of the world, before 1066!
