Don't worry Sue, this will be somebody who reads and doesn't post I think. We are all aware of the severity of the virus we don't need to have it thrust down our throats non stop. We need humour to offset all the gloom and doom. :-)

Not offensive at all. If we can't laugh at the situation we would surely cry. Some people on here don't have any sense of humour at all and twist humurous posts on to serious irrelevent clap trap. :-D :-D :-D

Just saw that my post has been R/R - I'm very sorry if I've offended anyone ( tho can't see why ) as it was supposed to be a bit of gentle humour on what is of course a very serious topic. :-(

It appears the RR'r doesn't believe we're entitled to a bit of humour.
Shame on them. :-P :-P :-P

I have seen this on Facebook, nobody complained. Strange bored people on here sometimes. Things are bad enough without losing our sense of humour.

My OH told me most of the joke yesterday, I thought it quite amusing. Obviously someone else didn’t.

I had a parcel delivered by Hermes last week. The driver left it in the porch (as usual), rang the bell and went.

By the time I got back upstairs I had an email saying the parcel had been delivered and left in porch. This was accompanied by a photo of the parcel inside the porch!!

It was recognisable and would provide excellent proof in any possible dispute.

Can't say that the idea of using Amazon appeals.

On Friday it was raining, door bell went, got to the door in seconds to find a parcel on the step and no sign of the deliverer.

Short time later had an update email saying "Parcel handed to resident".

Oh Yes !!

Yesterday , door bell went, parcel on step, took it in but only looked at it later to find it addressed to No. 20. Took it over there to find they had our one addressed to No. 5.

You stand once side of the fence, they stand the other and throw a vaccine dart at you.

Just heard a good suggestion that all Amazon drivers should be trained to administer the Covid jab, then everyone in the country would get it within 2-3 working days except for Amazon Prime customers who would receive it within 24 hours! ;-)
