Surely they can't get away with building an extension on a 'council' house Maggoe. Or is it one that has been sold and no longer council or housing association?

So far, today, it's been one and a half hours.
Yesterday, it was 3 hours.

I believe the younger son next door (who goes to Art College)
is creating a wood sculpture.
The incessant hammering is becoming increasingly unpleasant.

I also had to put up with them building an illegal (illegal because they have no planning permission) breezeblock shed in their garden - from which they run and illegal business, and the construction of an extension - again without permission (it's a council house)

Oh yes, and his elder brother parks his car right outside my house - probably so he doesn't disturb his family when he incessantly revs it in the morning.

These are the same neighbours who moaned to another neighbour about my washing machine (usually used for 2 washes a week) occasionally 'making a noise' on the final spin!! If it does make a noise, it lasts for 2 minutes maximum.

Do some people think they're 'above' everyone else?

I can feel my 'report a nuisance' finger itching :-| :-| :-|
