It was during the week when she had something to collect Ann (not sure, but think it was yesterday).

She was shocked when she saw everyone inside so it was straight in and straight out for her.

Icy cold here still.

Off to check on my fish pie. :-D

Oh hells bells Joy...I would not have attempted to drive from here...but we always get the brunt of the weather because we are high up. Usually Deeside and Chester has very little in comparison.

Yes that is the Sparkles I go to.....but not for a very long time....don’t think homeware is open ....just the food side, so I go to my local here now which is food only.

It is the strong wind and very low temp which is making the roads lethal here...I hope people have sense and keep out of their cars tonight

Stay in, Ann.

I've been chatting to my cuz who lives near the Countess of Chester this afternoon. She and her OH had a trip to a huge M & S at (I think she said) Ellesmere Port. She told me the place was heaving when they were there - no queue, just everyone inside.

Do you go there?

Remember, Island, I'd have been lucky to have inherited a bob. There are probably thousands of us descendants by now! :-D

Start with a bouncy castle Joy and work your way up :-D
Boing :-D

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 13 Feb 2021 15:56

I'd give it a go, Belle, but only if we were rolling in money so could keep ourselves warm - which ain't going to happen!

Even if all had gone well there'd be so many of us by now that we'd likely inherit a bob! :-D

Wouldn't fancy living in a castle in this weather,........brrrrrrr :-0

Afternoon Island, Ann and Emma. <3 :-D

I hope your granddaughter is feeling better too, Emma. <3

I'd quite like a chance at living in a castle, Emma. Of course I'd have to have sufficient funds to keep myself warm and for the castle's upkeep. Something which I certainly don't have and I'm never likely to have.

Centuries ago one of my ancestors lived in one - and I'm talking centuries ago. It was thanks to AnnCardiff that I discovered that gem and she pointed me to documentation leading back to that.

Alas, he never held on to his spondooliks and it fell well into disrepair.

The ruins are still there!
