I liked the series that has just ended, with Ralf Little in the leading role. I hope he is not replaced in the next series - if there is another.

Ben Stiller was fine, Humphrey (the blond guy whose name I can't recall) was iffy and Ardal O'Hanlon just acted weirdly and constantly reminded me of his Father Ted role.

Ralf Little has made a much better fist of it, in my opinion.

I don't know what everyone else thought.

EDIT: it took me a while to get into it and I almost gave up. Did anyone else feel that way?

I like Ralf Little in that role too, my husband thought they over did his allergies but I didn't because that is exactly how I am with the sun, some food and drinks too, it's an inherited ailment, no cure just managed.

Is this the one where he is about to say something or not...?? lol

Jude yes, also interesting was that JP lied to save Marlon from jail.

I really didn’t like Ardal O’hsnlan liked both Ben and ‘Humphrey’ and really liked the latest. I got the feeling he was not being replaced I also like the fact that the character Florence returned.

It was Ben Miller a British actor, writer and comedian.

Ben Stiller is an American film actor.

Of course it was, Pat. Bobtanian was implicit about it, wasn't he?

It just goes to show that neither Ben made any inroad into our consciousness. :-D

I do hope that JP stays in the programme. It wont be the same without him.

Death in Paradise, Not Going Out and The Big Bang Theory are my favourite fiction Programmes.
Other than those I prefer documentaries.
