I have been trying to find a birth for a lady named Iris Ellen Burgoyne but I am having no luck. The only details I have for her is that she had a daughter in 1962. Has anyone any suggestions please.

It is possible that this lady is alive and therefore information cannot be passed on.

If this is about an adoption then there are official routes that should be explored.

Thank you everyone. I had seen the death but was told that the lady had married so wasn't sure if it was her. Can I ask where you found the birth please. I have been on 4 different sites and couldn't find it.

Jayne - I found the birth on Freebmd. Island found it on find My Past.

If you use Freebmd don't put the second name in but the name or initial will come up in the results.

Do either of you know what the sister site is to find my past please. They take a subscription from me but its not them I am subscribed to. Its ages since I have done any family history and can not remember the site lol
