Sharron Report 8 Mar 2021 13:34

I am not even really sure of what 'The Spurs' are.

Not that I care. I think they are something to do with that spitting thing they put on the television when there is nothing much else available.

I think there is some sort of place they make you go and sit if you have done something wrong that they own as well. Must be a sort of punishment, like a sort of oval naughty step for grown-ups.

My back is not too bad and he has just got up.

He is creeping about a bit but does not appear too bad. Might have been a different story had Spurs been beaten!

How are you both, today?

Kay

Kay Report 7 Mar 2021 23:30

Oh Sharron, you do make me laugh!! Not the bit about you both falling, but the image of your OH throwing himself all over the garden coz the football's on!

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Mar 2021 22:57

He has just made a pot of tea.

I have let him watch football and now he is watching the bit I hate even more, where they show bits of iy again and go on like they are discussing something interesting.

He will probably throw himself about in the garden every time he wants to watch football now!

SylviaInCanada Report 7 Mar 2021 22:08

Has he managed to get up and walk, or climb the stairs??

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Mar 2021 19:39

Well, he's watching the football and shouting instructions!

I really don't care who wins what but, just for today, I would quite like Spurs to win for him.

Oh, dear. Am I getting soft in my old age?

SylviaInCanada Report 7 Mar 2021 18:10

Ouch!

Hope you are both alright, and feeling better now.

Also hope that he didn't get too much manure on him!

Hope you are both ok

Sometimes it’s more a shock to the system in falling more than actual damage

Both take it easy now for the rest of the day

:-)

He seems alright but we did think about calling the fire service to get him up.

Ouch Sharron, I hope he has not done too much damage, he will have fallen heavily as he is big. And I hope you have not done too much damage either. If you have any doubts cal 111

Hope it's no more than his pride that's hurt, Sharron....hope you both will be OK soon :-)

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Mar 2021 14:02

I have treated him with tea and a Penguin but I think the jeans may have to be jettisoned.

He is in the armchair at the moment and I hope I can get him when nature decrees.

The neighbour came to the door just now to call me outside.

OH had been up the garden turning over the compost heap or something and had gone down on his back.

6'8" and a bit of a big 'un too. We have had the devils own job getting him up and indoors, during which, my own back went.
