Thank you all for your good wishes.

A lovely time was had by all - but my younger daughter was unwell, so I didn't see her, or my youngest grandaughters :-( :-(
Elder daugter's two sons had pre-arranged sleep-overs, so they never came, and eldest grand daughter (19) is a trainee pub manager - and weekends are very busy.
So, I saw none of my grandchildren :-(

However, there were 3 pups! :-D My sister's 8 month old black lab, nephew's 9 month old Chihuahua/poodle cross (they know each other),,and a 9 month old Jack Russell/French Bulldog cross. They had a whale of a time!
Daughter didn't bring grandaughter's Romanian rescue dog, as she'd only brought a small tent, and 'Large Marge' (Carpathian Shepherd dog) is huge, and may have eaten the smaller dogs (joking!) She is, however, a bit over protective, and not too keen on men.

I also saw my siblings, and had a lovely curry cooked by my daughter and a tree surgeon. I don't normally eat curry, but this was delicious, and worth the after -effects :-S :-D

Half a dozen of us sat around the fire, talking and drinking until about 3am - very civilised :-D :-D

The site isn't free again until September, but I think we'll have a gathering for a day, elsewhere in August. <3

We're having a family gathering camping weekend,
Unfortunately 3 of my grandchildren can't attend - one's working, and the other two had pre-arranged sleepovers with much missed friends, but I will see the youngest 2 for the first time in over a year. <3
Will also get to see my children, siblings, and extended family. :-D
Oh - and the dogs acquired over the past 2 years :-D
