Saw it earlier when there was a break in the clouds. Using two bits of paper with a

pinhole in one of course ;-) :-D

Thick cloud here with the odd hole so I doubt the eclipse will be noticed.
Something always queers the pitch with sky events for us ranging from weather to neighbours bathroom light left on. Going out into the countryside to watch the Perseids made little difference when a floodlit combine started to work a field in full view. :-(

That's a shame Ann. Here there are plenty of clouds but the sun manages to show itself now and then.

Don't forget there is a partial eclipse of the Sun occurring at the moment. Take care not to look at it directly.
