Our daughter called over to see us yesterday.

The first I knew about was when my OH said, 'We have visitors.'

I had been having a quick nap in my chair so I didn't bother getting up. As soon as my daughter saw me she remarked that I'd been quick. I must have looked a bit confused (my normal state is constantly confused) so she said that she had just seen me in the study, which is on the ground floor of the house.

I told her that she was mistaken and that I had been asleep. She was adamant and even described the shirt that she saw as a 'check shirt'

Fair enough I was wearing a check shirt, but it was brown. My daughter said that the one she saw was a black and white check.

I do possess a couple of such shirts but at the time of my daughter's visit they were both fluttering on the washing line. There is no line of sight from where my study is to the rear of the house where the washing line is so she wouldn't have seen the shirts there

She went into the study and then accused me of turning my chair to face the opposite way to which she had seen it.

Some funny things have happened in the house over the years that have caused us to think that we do share it with another family :-D

I remember another house that we had which was possessed by spirits; we had it exorcised by the local Vicar and then it was immediately repossessed by the Building Society :-0
