If you are on the first page, it should take you to the last page, and vice versa.


edit even works on the topic ie on general chat it takes me to 2002

I seem to think that there used to be a way to set threads so that they opened at the most recent post, way back when

It was very useful with very long threads.

Of course that was back in the hey day of GR, at least 10-15 years ago :-(

I have never had any trouble with clicking on post date to get to the last post on a thread. I wonder why it doesn't work for you Maggie.

Clicking Post Date seems to add ?d=desc to the URL which reverses the order, clicking Post Date again replaces it with ?d=asc

You can get the same effect by typing that sequence on the end of the URL. If you can get the software to add it automatically then you would have the facility you want. I am sure Rollo knows how to do that if it can be done by members.
