From a Facebook WDYTYA post…..

It was previously announced that the 1921 census would be availble to view for free at the The National Archives at Kew from January.

The 1921 census is also now going to be available for free at Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru | The National Library of Wales| The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth and at Manchester Central Library from the 6 January 2022.

I had raised this with the National Archives, as the census covers England and Wales and it was unfair free access only at Kew was London centric. Increased availability is better, although I appreciate still too far for some. Of course this is still available as pay per view at FMP.
