Missed last week's prog but caught up on i-player.

LondonBelle Report 16 Oct 2022 06:25

Well, what a high standard of dancing..... nearly everyone upped their game last night, even Tony :-0 :-D

My favourite dance of the night had to be Fleur's Argentine Tango, so sensual :-0

Followed very closely by Hamza's Salsa and Kym's Samba both full of zest. It's funny how Hamza has a bad week them comes back the following week with all guns ablazing, in fact the same happened to Fleur :-). Liked the way Hamza had his hair tied to his shirt, it must be a religious thing for it to be so long :-)

I thought Matt was a little bit better than last week with his Jive but hadn't improved as much as some of the others :-(. The other I didn't like was Will's Rumba but thereagain celeb males always find this dance hard, not helped by it coming so early in the competition :-(

I normally like Tyler but Mega Mix Garage is not really my thing :-D :-D

I think it should be Matt and Will in the dance off with Will to stay :-). However, after last week noone is safe :-0

Belle, you always give us such a concise run down that all I can say is 'I agree with all you said' :-D

I loved Fleur's Argentine Tango. I remember when this only came towards the end of the series, this was quite early. I too didn't enjoy Tyler's but that is the dance not him. I also enjoyed Hamza and Kym. I am not keen on the Rumba anyway but thought Will did try, so difficult for men that dance.

still no doubt the public will keep their favourites in so we shall see.

In those immortal words..................ME TOO!

I do so love an Argentine Tango. . Fleur did a blooming good job.

I dont know if I really like street dance, with Tyler, but he was certainly energetic.

As said before, they all upped their game.

I hope they do not pick a good dancer against a not so good in the dance off, but I suppose it makes it easier to vote them off.

Anton was very pleased with his NTA award, and so he should be. He is becoming more like Len every week. Always giving encouragement.

LondonBelle Report 16 Oct 2022 09:49

When Anton first became a Judge I wasn't too keen on him in that role as Bruno left big boots to fill :-0

Now, though, I rather like him and don't miss Bruno at all :-D

I hope Will will stay. I can’t understand why he was forced to dance when he had been so very ill and unable to train. He didn’t do very well, but that is understandable

AnninGlos Report 16 Oct 2022 15:14

did they say he had been very ill, I thought he said he felt unwell but didn't hear/see any more. Hamzin too was unwell in the week so sounds like a virus going around.

AnninGlos Report 16 Oct 2022 21:11

I think the right one went tonight. Interesting to see their farewell dance and ha actually was laughing. I think he was relieved in a way.

I agree, Ann.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 17 Oct 2022 07:06

Yes, the right decision. I think Matt had been on borrowed time:-( However, I always feel so sorry for the couple that have to leave :-(

I was surprised to hear Kym's name but then when I heard Matt was joining her his fate was sealed :-(

This is when it starts to get interesting when the standard is high....who will be next to leave the ballroom :-0

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 17 Oct 2022 08:59

Depends on the public mood I suppose, could be Will or Tony sometimes it would be good to know the actual order of the public vote. I think it is about this time that we start to get a real shock at somebody leaving.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 17 Oct 2022 09:42

Will had a rubbish week and I think he would be the first to admit it. It could have been due to illness or the Rumba being so technically difficult or a mixture of both :-0

The previous week he was praised for making 'ballroom sexy'. Hopefully, this coming week he will turn the tables again and come back fighting like those who have survived a dance off often do :-)

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 17 Oct 2022 10:10

Let's hope so. He does seem to have the ability and it was a pity he was unwell as it can't be easy to move your body as in the rumba if you don't feel fully fit.

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 17 Oct 2022 13:08

Sadly Matt lost out this week. He always seemed so unsure, and was very gracious when he lost, and went straight over to Kym.

Will did say he had been unwell in the week, and he really did have a rasping voice.

Apparently Hamzin was unwell too. Maybe there had been a bug going around.

Very high standard now, although some of them have been to stage school.

Good to see David Seaman and Lee Dixon supporting Tony.

LondonBelle Report 23 Oct 2022 07:13

Well I liked the BBC 100year theme especially the opening sequence :-D

The stand out performances for me were Helen's Charleston, Tyler's Tango and Hamza's Quickstep :-D

I also liked Ellie and Johannes' Tango to Casualty. At the start of the Series Ellie looked very clumsy but now she is becoming more and more elegant :-D

I think that Nikita is doing very well with his choreography and because of that I forget about the height difference :-D

I didn't like Will"s Viennese Waltz not because it wasn't danced well but for me it was too dramatic more like a Paso.....I like a Viennese Waltz when it is more elegant and demure :-(

I thought James had improved again......very elegant top half just to needs to work on his bottom half :-)

Not sure who should be in the dance off :-0

I think the Public will keep Tony in as his entertainment value is worth a 10 :-D

Perhaps Molly and Kym in the dance off :-S

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 23 Oct 2022 08:02

Well I liked Helen, Tyler, both Ellie's and Hamza;s dances.

I thought the rest were a bit lack-lustre to be honest.

Kim seemed a bit down last night I thought. Tony will probably be kept in. Nice to see Lee Dixon still there supporting him.

I was counting the amount of previous contestants in the audience, so much so, I was missing the dancing.

No idea at all who will be in the Dance Off. :-S
