My mother Sarah May (Sheila).

Are they still living?
A rough idea of their ages?


Do you know your grandmother's maiden surname?

Have you looked at Search/ search all members trees? There are pages of Sheridans born in Glasgow.

I see you have Geoffrey and Sarah on your GR tree, and therefore on "Search all member trees".

For our reference:

you say that Sarah was born 1930, Geoffrey born 1880.


Sarah's birth is correct.
However, I don't see any birth record of a Geoffrey Sheridan in 1880 in Glasgow.

Are you sure of Geoffrey's birth date?

Might Sarah have been known as May?

In 1955, a Geoffrey M Sheridan, Mary B Sheridan, and May Sheridan were living at 21 Meiklerig Crescent in the Craigton district of Glasgow.

IF (and PLEASE NOTE this is only a suggestion) that is the correct family, Sarah (May)'s parents were Geoffrey Martin Sheridan and Mary Buchanan Connell.

He and Mary had a son , also called Geoffrey Martin Sheridan, in 1926, in Dennistoun, which is where Sarah May's birth was registered in 1930.

In 1956, Geoffrey, Mary and May are at the same address.
In 1957, Geoffrey, Mary, May and John A Sheridan are at that address.
In 1958, Geoffrey and Mary, and John A Sheridan, are at the same address, but May is not with them.
