Bright and sunny and 15 degrees at the moment as the brisk cold wind of yesterday seems to have eased. :-D

Gwyn, they are still drilling :-(. I'm wondering if they need a larger pipe from The Mains cos the house is at least three times the size before they started :-0. I wonder if they have factored in how much their electricity and gas is going to increase by :-0 :-0.

Cracking day here. Bright, sunny and not cold - was out with only a cardie over my dress.

The things that Trump is coming out with makes me wonder whether his kids are his advisors. :-S

Going out again :-0 my brother's turned up :-( and i need to escape :-(

It's been bright, sunny and quite warm in the sun today.

Just as well because the decorators have had the front door and most of the windows open all day. To answer your question from yesterday Joy, they are going to be here until at least Friday evening and maybe even on Monday too. There is SO much paintwork to prep, sand and then paint with undercoat and 2 topcoats (although I would be happy with one topcoat if it looks alright).

We are already fed up because we are restricted to about 4 square feet of dining room to sit in on dining chairs which are not comfortable long term :-(

We have also had a phone call from the carpet shop who were meant to be fitting the carpet within a couple of days of the decorators finishing saying that the carpet won't now be in until at least week commencing 13th October which means that we can't get everything back in the living room unless we then want to take it all out again. I could SCREAM.
