It looks good, Kath and it’s not too far from where my son works. Also, I visit my pal at Trimdon Grange once a month so it only means carrying on along the same road for a very short while. I am surprised my other pal hasn’t mentioned it as she travels from Sedgefield once a week. I shall give it a go next time we meet up.

Its at Fishburn Airfield Joy. Only been open 7 weeks and with a limited memu for now.
Apparently they do a lot of breakfasts. They had plenty of customers while we were there - in fact we had to wait 5 minute for a table.

It used to be called The Aviator Bistro and don't think it had a good name but since being in new ownership has had good reviews.

Afternoon all :-) <3

Lunch out with your son sounds good to me Kath ;-)

Been in the garden. Not tackled the ivy today, but the pyracantha looks a bit tidier after it's trim.

Not heard of it Kath, but I shall look it up. :-D <3

Afternoon all :-) <3

Just brigtening up a bit after rain overnight and this morning.

Had to be up early this morning as someone was coming to measure for new curtains and pick up sample books I had borrowed. After looking at dozens of samples i think I will be going for something very similar to what I have had up for 37 years :-0

Then went out to take 4 drawings that Bob had done 45 years ago to be re-framed and whilst out Colin (my son) decided we should go to a new cafe he'd heard of for lunch (it would be rude not to ;-)) and it was very nice.

It's probably only about 20 mins. from you Joy and called The Flight Ranch.

I had my flu jab last week and my covid jab is next week.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

Afternoon Fly and Von. :-D :-D <3 <3

Good to see you posting Fly - on the mend, I guess. <3

Von, I have requested Smart meters - not only because the electric meter is high up (you know how tall I am not!) and I need to use the stepladder to read it and I am not getting any younger, but because I am hoping they will install the gas meter away from where it is now. I did ring the gas people to see if the current meter could be installed a few feet further away and he said the minimum charge would be £750+ depending on the distance! I am wanting it nearer to the spot where the gas comes into the property - so I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will install the Smart meter where I want it.

It is a palaver, Von, and I can't be bothered with it at the moment.

Hope your Covid jab is painless - flu jab next? <3

Dull here with a few spots of rain ;-)

Joy what a palaver. I hope they can move the meter for you <3

Covid jab later :-(

Take care everyone <3

Good afternoon Belle, Gwyn and Elizabeth. :-D <3 :-D <3 :-D <3

~~~ waves back to Belle. <3 :-D
Just a teensy weensy bit fed up this morning. Gas man working on pipes and got a metal plate thing to drive over to park my car on the drive but he has told me he will need to replace my meter and I have to be in for him to do it (it's in the garage, normally locked). Asked him if he could move the new one along from the spot it is in and he told me he couldn't. I have plans - so I am going to contact the Gas Board to see if he can place it in a new spot and, if so, willl it cost me? Any bets on the answer being 'free'? ROFL now!
Morning Belle :-) <3
Dry, bright and sunny here and about 14 degrees.
I should have looked eastwards to see that sky, instead of watching for squirrels this morning ;-)
