It was lovely yesterday. I did some green bin filling and had my proper late afternoon outside sit with a cuppa and hook. :-D

I don't really care as I am off out this afternoon. Instead of meeting for coffee with friends as usual we are going to the cinema to see Downton Abbey instead. I haven't been to the cinema since well before Covid - that time to see the first Downton Abbey film. The second was on tv and this is The Grand Finale.

What a difference a day makes!
Not a hint of blue sky earlier. It was thoroughly dismal and dull and chilly with it, but at last the sun has put in an appearance.

My usual morning volunteering then decided I would do a big stock-up shop this arvo.

Muscle still not right back but I’ll get there. :-(

Kath, I tried to book a ticket at our Gala Cinema for Monday afternoon last week as it is only £5 then for pensioners and you get tea and biccies to boot! My bestie and I used to do that regularly before covid but have not been since.

Alas, they were fully booked but I shall try to see it some time soon.
