Stanley Baxter has died aged 99 years.

He had a very popular variety show, showcasing his impersonations.

Who can forget Mr Majeika, the childrens show. My kids loved it!

When he was impersonating The Queen he went into The Odean, Holloway Road, which was our local cinema.

Beloved used to work around the corner to where Stanley lived, and often had conversations with him. he said he was a lovely, interesting gentleman. <3

I remember him from the 70,s as my grandparents would watch him at xmas and we were allowed as well.

Sadly the new entertainers are not of the same ilk and not half as funny thesedays.
