It's been quite cold here with endless wind and very undecided whether it wants to be sunny or to rain!

My boiler packed in and was condemned. So I was really cold for a week, until they installed a new one and all radiators throughout. I've not fully warmed up since lol

I added Newspapers to my Ancestry subs in December, so I'm going to do a bit more research on there before it runs out! :-D

Very windy here but no rain.

We had no hailstones, Kath but I remember many years ago when son-in-law was at Sainsburys near us (it's a short walk away) and he came straight to ours to pick up grandson and was amazed to find everywhere dry! We had not had any rain.

Dance class this morning and I needed it!

Bright, sunny but breezy here today. (Washing on the line drying quickly.)

10 degrees, dry, bright and sunny here.
It feels so much milder, now the bitter wind has dropped :-D

Local schools don't start their holiday until Thursday afternoon.

Bright and dry here but we had the strangest hail storm at teatime last night. It came from nowhere and was gone in less than 5 minutes but you couldn't see out of the window for the hailstones and they were battering the windows at the back of the house and there was just one streak of lightening. It went so dark it was quite frightening as it had been bright and when it was over it was bright sunshine again.

I've never seen such weather come and go so quickly.
