	I'd turn up in red or hot pink :-D Since when do brides dictate what female guests wear? :-S Colour/outfit suggestions for funerals I totally get but weddings, no :-) Edit Joking about the red but I'd go for a black and white pattern.

	I'd be tempted to use non-black accessories, and have a bright scarf you can wear from time to time.

	I'm afraid I would turn down the invitation because I never wear dresses - only trousers. I realise the couple want their own sort of wedding but I don't think it fair to expect guests to have no say in what they wear. Only my opinion of course. Kath. x

I look like Morticia from The Adams Family in black. I don't know what the bride will be wearing but I don't think we'll need colour photographs! Annie
