It was taking an age to check in, the last time I was online, but when daughter went to phone our broadband provider, she realised we had no phone dialling tone. :-( :-0
Not easy for her working from home !
Checked phone when we got in from shopping just now and we seem to be OK at last.

Slightly overcast today and not full on sunshine, which made the day more bearable. It's gone down to 25 now.
We might need to go into 'close the curtains and isolate' mode if the predicted temperatures until Tuesday night in the south are true :-0 :-0

Dreadful accident in Bedford. Something went terribly wrong. When we lived in the midlands, we used that route to come down to St Pancras. No trains coming or going obviously. So sad. <3

Bit cooler this morning 20 degrees.

I sent a message to Gwyn the other day, she said her provider had an outage. She hopes to be on again soon <3

Morning all,
We live about 6 miles from the train incident and as far as we can gather the first train had stopped on the track which they do not usually do at that point so something may have gone wrong with it. We wondered why 2 air ambulances flew over our house at that time , now we know why :-( :-( :-(.

It's been very warm since early on here. It's going to be a lovely day if you like that sort of thing. I prefer it to be cooler though.

I can't understand, in this day and age, how two trains ended up on the same piece of track :-S. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of it but in the meantime thoughts go to the bereaved driver's family and all those involved in this incident :-( <3

Sad news about the train crash. Just heard about it when I switched on the news.

What a dire shock for everyone concerned.

Love the postal workers bit on the news at the moment. Ten out of ten to John Lewis who returned by money - well over £100 - because my package did not arrive. It is still stuck at Tyneside Mail Centre as far as I know and they need to get their finger out. :-(
