Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 8 Send Message	Does anyone know the name of any newspapers in or near the Halstead Essex area in 1860, the would have employed a PRINT COMPOSITOR, my ancestor George Lewis Wiffin was employed as one but we can't find out where, he maintained the same occupation in Chlemsford and latterly West Ham.

	isnt that the person that would have assembled all the lead type, in frames ready for printing?or at least the machine minder that looked after the type making machine? Bob
