hi everyone, I know it's late but I just had to tell someone some good news. As Shaz, Laurie and Jood knows I'm looking for info on my dad Maxwell Davies/Davis and I have just had contact from another GR who sent me to the State Library of NSW site. They have a service where you can request a look up for free, so everyone keep your fingers crossed. Yeah, I know you probably already know about it but hay! we have to share our enthusiasm don't we Louisa :))) |

Good luck Louisa :) Leave Canberra at 2.30am and fly out of Sydney at 8am Laurie, I'll wave to you - I'll be on the Singapore airliner :) Anna, thank you for the threads. I'll try and get to an internet cafe once I get familiar with the streets. I'm told that there are quite a few. (cafes! not streets - but there's a lot of streets also!! LOL) Have just finished the final packing, Wattle bear is coming in the cabin with me :) I have a window seat so I'll wave him as well as we leave. Vonny |
