Well, that's it, it's all over. We've done our duty to the office and they can now all nick off!!! Can you believe the partners didn't even give us a bunch of flowers! What a bunch of tight a**es. Anyway, we've done the right thing. Party went on for hours, must have been all the free grog and food! You guys should have turned up, now wouldn't that have been a scream, lol. Bye bye, Vonny. Hope you have a wonderful time. We'll be thinking of you, so try to check in. Was sorry to hear about June of Preston. Always so thoughtful. We're going to miss her little birthday posts. I'll chat with you all later. Lew Lew xxx

Morning All Well our rain has disappeared again, back to a sunny but cool day. Havent got much planned for today, just a quiet one at home watching TV. Yvette, delivering junk mail!! I used to do that before I had my heart turn, it is a great way to keep fit apart from in winter with the rain :-( Vonny will be well on her way now, hopefully she had a nice flight. Did you wave to the plane Laurie? Everytime I hear of someone going away I think to myself not long now til Sydney meet. I got no feedback about going on a Jet boat ride in the Harbour when I'm over there !!! Any takers ?pmsl It has been qiuet over the last day with some away, makes it easier to keep up to though. Its coffee time will pop back after. 41 Sleeps Cheers Sue

Good morning - who's snoring? Very quiet here this morning - except for Yvette and Lew who are fit and rearing to go! Glad yesterday went well Lew - don't worry abbout the partners - they are only jealous that it's not them retiring - mob of sons with no fathers! Byeeeeee Vonny - she'll be up, up and away! Must be a bit scary going alone to a place where everyone is speaking a different language - hope she has taught her students well so they can translate. All this talk of progress with genealoogy makes me feel guilty - I haven't done anything lately - going through a bit of a 'fed up' spot I think. Brother rang at 7.00am - he'd just had a call from Qantas to say his bags arrived in Brisbane this morning. I'm so pleased for him - it's been 6 days since they disappeared and he was not a happy man. Where is Lara???? Talk to us you bad girl! Hope everyone has a good day Be back later Anna

Welcome to the waffling Wattlers thread, Susan. Just be careful, as some of the members require serious medication! I'm thinking perhaps of introducing some of them to basket weaving, lol. Seriously, you won't meet a nicer bunch of nuts. Dr Lew, MD, PhD, etc., etc.

Hi Susan Welcome to the Wattlers - I've seen your name around the boards. Should we be afraid?? Watch out for Dr Lew as she's right on to anyone who steps out of line and medicates them until they're compliant! :>)) Anna

still drinking coffee and looking at oh's loaf. seeing we've had the quote of the day, i'm adding blonde joke of the day which i've just received from my buddy richard There are two sisters, one is blonde and other is brunette and they inherit the family farm . Unfortunately, after just a few years, they are in financial trouble. In order to keep the bank from repossessing the farm, they need to purchase a bull from the stockyard in a far town so that they can breed their own stock. They only have $600 left. Upon leaving, the brunette tells her sister, 'When I get there, if I decide to buy the bull, I'll contact you to drive out after me and home.' The brunette arrives at the stockyard, inspects the bull, and decides she wants to buy it. The man tells her that he will sell it for $599, no less. After paying him, she drives to the nearest town to send her sister a telegram to tell her the news. She walks into the telegraph office, and says, 'I want to send a telegram to my Sister telling her that I've bought a bull for our farm . I need her to hitch the trailer to our ute and drive out here so we can haul it home.' The telegraph operator explains that he'll be glad to help her, then adds, 'It's just 99 cents a word.' Well, after paying for the bull, the brunette only has $1 left. She realizes that she'll only be able to send her sister one word. After a few minutes of thinking, she nods and says, 'I want you to send her the word 'comfortable.' The operator shakes his head. 'How is she ever going to know that you want her to hitch the trailer to your ute and drive out here to haul that bull back to your farm if you send her just the word comfortable?' The brunette explains, 'My sister's blonde. It's a big word. She'll read it very slowly ... com-for-da-bul'

Not a bad joke Fanny, Gee it is a big area you have to do with the junk mail compared to here. I used to do 2 areas, one was 450 houses and the other was only 270, but that one was on a very hilly area. When are you going to get stuck into the loaf OH cooked? Off to have Turkey sandwich for lunch. Cheers Sue
