Just thought that I would take a last look in for today before I signed off. I am not much of a football fan, but I do enjoy the occasional car race. Prefer to be there though to soak up the atmosphere. The noise and the smell. Enjoy your chardy Pam, not too many now, the sugar doesn't like too much. I am thinking of joining Weight watchers. Any one been? The only way I am going to lose weight is to have some one watching over me and it's the nearest thing to a personal trainer that I can afford. Would love some feed back. Meetings are on Tuesday's so I will give it a try this week. See you all tomorrow Luv SuzyQ

Yvette I just looked back on the last couple of messages. I havent been white water rafting, but I have been in a Jet boat that has gone up a river doing 360's and skimming down over small rapids that have minimum water going over them and fishtailing up the edge of the river. The boat is called the 'DevilJet' wonder why I liked it soooo much??? pmsl. I did see where they had one that goes about on the Sydney Harbour. Dont know if it will be as hair raising!!! Cheers Sue

Afternoon luvvies, Pam - already started on a Semillon when I got in from work just after 12 - not a bad drop from Margaret River. OH at mate's watching Crows do Cats and getting the washing done - laundromat closed today - thank god for Fred. I'll be ironing tonight - just enough to get daughter ready for work - don't want to overdo things Shouldn't mention the footy as Jude2 might not be happy - sorry Should have hit the wine on Friday when washing machine flooded - would have done me more good than the chocolate - lol Good on ya Tassie for carrying on June's work. Anna - glad your brother's luggage finally turned up - hope it had a nice holiday - bit like the gnomes that go tripping off - but without the photos to show where they've been. Sun is out now but we had some drizzle earlier on. Trying to do some FH but really can't get into it - so much paperwork here that I don't know whether I'm Arthur or Martha - a bit of filing wouldn't go amiss I think, so maybe I'd better try that instead. Afternoon SuziQ Yes I do agree with you it is better being there. We will be at the track when the V8's come to Tassie in November. Afternon Wafflers I've had my coffee, a sit in the bewdiful winter sun and caught up on the news headlines. Not that there was much to catch up on.....disappearing furniture, stupid 'bomb prank' footballers and the latest speculation about the Big Brother house. A very slow news day. Hi Yvette...where do you work? Are you changing jobs or just venues? SuzyQ...good luck with your weight loss. You should talk to Devily. She did a tremendous job losing weight. Hi Fanny No it was in Tasmania at New Norfolk, not sure if that part is Derwent River or whether it is called something else up that part.. It was definately a thrill and as I love boats it is something I would do again at the drop of the hat. I did see on an tourism ad for Sydney that evidently they have one there as well!! Ooh Lowndes won the weekends racing and moved closer to number one spot overall for this year Yay!!! Go Fords!!!! Ooh no Tony and Lara are also going to be unhappy little vegemites. Cheers Sue

Hi again SuzyQ, went to weight watchers about 20 years ago - can't comment on todays standards etc. Am allowed 2 drinkies per day, (cough, cough, cough) I now drink chardy and not the really sweet wine (spumante) that I used to. Hello. Have just spoken to Tony and Barb again. It's their last day in London (till the next time). They're off to St Paul's Cathedral this morning. Joy

dear jood, where you been lurking? the others are watching sport so i am adding somewaffle here. has anyone gone out and looked at the stars tonight? hows the difference between surburbia and the country? have a look then find the southern cross. youngest male child and i spend a fair bit of time checking them out and we have decided that we found a new constellation . it's probably part of something else, but we call it the fisherman. theres a star up the top (head)one in the middle and down below 2, slightly apart (feet). you can look at it 2 ways. on side the fishing rod is up the other side the fishing rod is down. its just over from the sth cross. we are always amazed that we find it again. we read in a magazine that some aboriginal people look at the southern cross and see a stingray being pursued by two sharks (the pointer stars) . have another look ... how true. Don't know Tony and Barb, but haven't they had good weather for their trip? lucky possums. yvette

don't know if i like the word games or not, tele is in another room. also oh's 'puter with 'net in his work room too so no distractions in here. ktichen's even further away. our house is really old. the hall way runs for the entire length with rooms off either side. segregates everybody quite nicely. thought that my relos may write but they are probably enjoying the b****y great weather. hope they all have there hats on

I didn't go downstairs and look at the stars tonight, but I have travelled outback a lot, and sat around a campfire looking at the stars millions of times - well dozens. There are billions of stars up there. .. Sometimes you can see one moving, but to try and tell someone else which one is moving is darn near impossible. .. Of course, having consumed wines, it could all be imaginery .. pmsl. Jood

We were in Wagga a few years back for our son's march out parade (Army). We sat outside one evening and looked at the stars. Couldn't believe the sky was so big and there were so many stars. I was reminiscing the other day and talking to my daughter about lying on the ground and looking up at the clouds. I used to imagine differents animals in the shapes of the clouds. Susan
